Production Management Development Associate

Position Summary

Nestlé Purina's Management Development Associate program is designed to cultivate future leaders. This full-time role offers a fast-tracked path to management on the manufacturing side of the business. The program includes a rotational component with relocation assistance, providing opportunities for fresh perspectives, growth, and learning end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance in relation to the production team.
• Gain experience in leading people and operations through the entire path to high-quality pet food production.
• Discover field concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
• Practice personal safety and set an example for employee safety and protection of company assets.
• Lead and oversee the execution of production schedules.
• Ensure the flow of materials, parts, and resources for plant-wide production.
• Plan methods to improve production efficiency and execute production improvement tasks.
• Maintain compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Must have attained or be on track to attain the degree by June 2027.
• Open to relocation to any of the 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S.
• Initial rotation will be at one of the following locations: Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Clinton, Iowa.
• This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience is preferred.
