About the Role
HyperVerge is hiring for two distinct CA Industrial Trainee openings:
- Corporate Finance
- Controllership & Financial Reporting
Candidates may apply for either role or both, based on their interests and eligibility.
Role Details
- Location: Bengaluru—in-office
- Duration: 9–12 months
- Tentative joining: 1 December 2026
- Qualification: CA Intermediate cleared—both groups
- Articleship: Currently pursuing articleship with a Big 4 / Big 6 firm
- Availability: At least nine months of articleship remaining at joining and eligibility for industrial training under applicable ICAI regulations
- Additional requirement for Controllership: Current articleship experience in the audit domain
Opening 1: Corporate Finance
Work with finance leadership on planning, business analysis and commercial finance.
What you’ll work on
- Support annual operating plans, budgets, and revenue and expense forecasts.
- Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, explaining key drivers.
- Build financial models and business cases for initiatives, investments and scenarios.
- Evaluate customer- and product-level profitability and return on investment.
- Review commercial terms in customer and vendor contracts and help standardise finance clauses.
- Identify repetitive finance activities and support automation using AI tools.
Opening 2: Controllership & Financial Reporting
Work with the Controller and finance leadership on financial controls, reporting and compliance.
What you’ll work on
- Document processes, identify control gaps and update SOPs supporting Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR).
- Coordinate audit schedules and documentation, and track closure of audit observations.
- Assist with financial statements, group consolidation, monthly reporting and variance analysis.
- Support cross-border compliance across group entities.
- Assist with due diligence for fundraising, M&A or similar transactions as required.
- Identify repetitive reporting activities and support automation using AI tools.
What We Look For
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Strong analytical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear communication and stakeholder coordination
- Ownership and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
For Controllership & Financial Reporting

Understanding of applicable reporting standards—primarily Indian GAAP

Exposure to audit processes, internal controls or SOP documentation

CA Intermediate rank holders are preferred, but not mandatory.

Interest in AI-enabled finance automation is a plus; coding experience is not required.
