Junior Interior Designer

Acute Studio is a design-focused practice specializing in thoughtful, functional interior environments. Team members work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing interior concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings for projects across various typologies.
• Assist with design presentations.
• Prepare construction drawings.
• Coordinate FF&E selections.
• Create mood boards and material palettes.
• Conduct site visits and measurements.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
• Assist with documentation, revisions, and project coordination tasks as guided by senior designers.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and their application to interior projects.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings and technical detailing.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specifications, and coordination.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop or similar tools).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and standards.
• Effective collaboration skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work on-site with project teams, vendors, and contractors.
