About the Role
This is a sales position focused on matching customers with flooring solutions within a newly renovated showroom. The objective is to provide flooring advice that simplifies and enhances the customer's buying decision.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their wants and needs.
- Project manage jobs from initial customer interaction through installation and beyond.
- Build client relationships.
- Execute targeted sales strategies.
- Write sales orders, receive payments, or obtain credit authorization using the software system.
- Follow up promptly and professionally with customers on requests and/or concerns.
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Willingness to undergo product and sales training for certification.
- Well-organized.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently with teammates across departments and locations.
- Access to reliable transportation for work and customer visits.
- Open and flexible work availability during showroom hours.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Willingness to learn proprietary operating systems.
Qualifications
- A passion for people.
- Retail sales experience or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in flooring or home design is a plus.
