About the Role

Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Server to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and attend to details.
• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed.
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current promotions and specials.
• Answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly.
• Accurately write down guests’ orders and enter into POS system in a timely manner.
• Retrieve food or drink orders from the kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests.
• Assess guests’ demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager.
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.
• Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• POS system
• Ability to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop frequently.
• Ability to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.
• Must be 21 or Over to enroll in the 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program.
