About the Role
Flood Communications, including The Twister and News Channel Nebraska, is a media company specializing in radio, television, and social media content. The Twister is a leading voice for news, sports, and community events in the Sandhills Region of Nebraska. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Online Content Creation: Live stream, edit videos, provide on-the-spot commentary, and conduct interviews.
- Voice-Tracking: Record, edit, and playback scheduled voice tracks.
- Audio Production: Produce radio audio content, including commercials, jingles, and promos, ensuring high-quality sound.
- Promotions Assistance: Assist in the conceptualization and execution of radio promotions, preparing materials, prizes, and setups for remotes.
- General Assistance: Provide support to other station activities as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficient in audio software and equipment (training available).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate live broadcasts or remote sessions.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
- Valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in radio or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
