Business Intelligence Intern

About the Role

EduAdvice™ is a premium education news and opportunities platform. The Business Intelligence Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on turning education-related data into actionable insights. This role offers hands-on experience in business intelligence within a fast-growing digital education platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.
• Support the design of dashboards and reports that help track audience engagement, content performance, and business metrics.
• Perform basic data analytics.
• Contribute to data modeling efforts.
• Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs.
• Help create visualizations and summaries that inform decisions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or business intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret trends, patterns, and insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• Data Analytics skills, including working with spreadsheets or BI tools to perform basic statistical analysis and create visualizations.
• Data Warehousing skills related to organizing, storing, and retrieving structured data for reporting and analysis.
• Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills, including familiarity with workflows that move and transform data between systems.
• Data Modeling skills to help design and maintain logical structures for databases and reporting layers.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Curiosity about education trends.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
