Nuvo is bringing B2B commerce online, aiming to transform the $11T B2B commerce and payments market which currently relies on outdated methods like paper forms, PDFs, emails, faxes, phone calls, and spreadsheets.

About The Role

We are looking for smart engineers to help build category-defining products. Our challenges include scaling AI agents, multi-agent workflows that automate risk and payments, and running agents on large-scale data. You will partner with engineering, design, and product teams to shape the roadmap, solve real-world problems, and build our 0-1 products. Your work will have a significant impact on team culture, customers, and the economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI systems that automate real trade workflows, including collections, credit decisioning, payments operations, and manual tasks that slow down the physical economy.
• Transform LLMs and agents into reliable, production-grade features with appropriate evaluations and guardrails.
• Write high-quality, clean, and performant code and collaborate with platform and product engineers to ship end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to shaping how Nuvo builds with AI as both the field and our product evolve rapidly.
• Utilize the best tools for each task, prioritizing system functionality in production.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building with modern ML or LLMs (demonstrable through coursework, research, internships, or projects).
• Good judgment regarding the application of AI to mitigate risk and ensure output quality.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions and tradeoffs.
• Excitement to work in an early-stage team, tackling ambiguous problems with a strong bias for action.
