About the Role
TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Medical Lab Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs stat and routine clinical laboratory testing in technical discipline areas in which individual and department are licensed.
- Operates under the oversight of a medical technologist and direction of a laboratory supervisor, manager, or director.
- Performs duties consistent with written procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates a general understanding of the theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Performs non-technical duties including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing within the department as required.
- Supports the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Associate's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology
Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of experience in related experience.
