Human Resources Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Intern for the HR Analytics profile. The individual will play a critical role in working with data, building dashboards in Power BI, analyzing datasets in Excel, and turning data into meaningful projects that will drive HR decisions.

Duration: 06 months to 01 year

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing HR data related to compensation, headcount, workforce trends, and people analytics to identify meaningful insights.
• Use advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning, and data manipulation) to organize and prepare HR datasets for analysis.
• Build interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to track key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, compensation trends, and workforce insights.
• Translate raw HR data into clear data-driven stories and visual insights that help HR leaders understand trends and support strategic decision-making.
• Identify patterns and trends in HR datasets and present actionable insights through charts, dashboards, and reports.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of HR data while handling sensitive employee information.
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to present insights in a clear and compelling way using data visualization.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Power BI (dashboards, visuals, basic DAX preferred).

Qualifications

• Commerce Graduate in any field / B.Tech
• Interest in HR Analytics, data storytelling, and workforce analytics.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively using data and visual storytelling.
