The Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling through visuals, an eye for engaging content, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling videos across different formats. You will work closely with the content, marketing, and creative teams to create short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms, social media, campaigns, and internal communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce engaging video content for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and digital channels
• Work on video formats including reels, shorts, promotional videos, interviews, and brand content
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand video concepts, storytelling flow, and desired outcomes
• Add transitions, effects, animations, subtitles, music, and sound enhancements to improve viewer experience
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency in visual style
• Assist in organizing and managing video assets, footage, and project files
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, and content formats
• Take feedback positively and iterate on edits to deliver high-quality output
• Stay ahead of platform changes (privacy updates, algorithm shifts, policy changes) and adapt strategy proactively

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, and visual composition
• Hands-on experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, VN
• Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus
• Understanding of social media content formats and trends
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver work within timelines
• A creative mindset with the ability to experiment with new ideas
• Portfolio/showreel showcasing previous editing work is preferred

Good to Have

• Experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics
• Interest in storytelling, digital content, and brand building
