About the Role
CHS Inc. is seeking an Analytical Development Lab Intern for Fall 2026 in Randolph, MN. This intern will support product development chemists in creating new formulations, testing product efficacy, and analyzing lab results.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all laboratory and greenhouse safety protocols.
- Assist with experiments and research under supervision.
- Prepare lab materials, including equipment setup and sample preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, data, and results.
- Monitor and maintain lab equipment, performing routine checks.
- Support data analysis and interpretation using appropriate tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab, including proper waste disposal.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering supplies.
- Contribute to reports or summaries of experimental findings.
- Safely work independently and handle agricultural materials appropriately.
- Sterilize equipment and store materials securely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently enrolled in an Agronomy, Animal Science, Horticulture, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, Physical Science, or related field degree program.
- Desire to learn, adjust, and find solutions to problems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to utilize office tools (phone, fax, computer, Microsoft Office products).
- Strong computer skills.
