About the Role

The Environmental & Sustainability Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at the Perundurai facility. This role involves monitoring environmental performance across operations, supporting compliance with local and international environmental regulations, and maintaining documentation and reports for audits and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental performance across operations.
• Support compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
• Maintain documentation and reports for audits and certifications.
• Assist in implementing sustainability initiatives, such as resource efficiency, waste management, and pollution prevention.
• Collaborate with production, EHS, and management teams to integrate environmental best practices into daily processes.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Support training and awareness programs for team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aligned with the company’s environmental and sustainability goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Compliance.
• Knowledge in Environmental Science and Environmental Policy.
• Strong Communication skills for report preparation, stakeholder engagement, and training activities.
• Ability to interpret regulations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use basic data analysis tools for environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline).
• Experience in manufacturing or textile/apparel industry environmental management is an advantage.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on-site in production environments.
• Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
