Job Title: Clinical Assistant / Sr. Clinical Assistant / Clinical Associate / Sr Clinical Associate - Paediatrics

Department: Medical Staff

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional approach with all patients, staff, and visitors.
• Provide medical cover, both routine and emergency, during hours of duty.
• Work in conjunction with other specialties to serve the institute.
• Perform procedures such as Central line, IV Channelization, and Intubation.
• Operate instruments like the Ventilator.
• Adhere to all clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols (e.g., wearing gloves, aprons, maintaining hand hygiene).
• Monitor patients as and when required or requested.
• Identify complex health problems of patients and report them immediately to the concerned doctor.
• Supervise daily clinical management of all patients under the guidance of Consultants.
• Prescribe pain management medicines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare workers.
• Ensure treatment sheets are complete with diagnosis in capital letters, dated, named, and signed by the writing doctor.
• Refer to progress notes while writing treatment sheets.
• Assist Consultants for rounds and conduct independent rounds, following up patients for further care (change in treatment plan).
• Accompany Consultants for rounds and take notes as required.
• Prepare discharge summaries.
• Assess new patients admitted.
• Follow on-call and duty rota based on the department’s requirement.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives and protocols of the organization.

• MBBS qualification.
• MD/DNB (Paediatrics) qualification.
