Client Investment Partner (Personal CFO)
1% Club
About the Role
This is a digital-first HNI client role built around high-quality conversations, not mass outreach. You will engage qualified, high-intent prospects with ₹50 lakh+ portfolios, identify where their investments can work harder, and guide suitable clients into 0.1% Club’s Managed Portfolios. Portfolio first. Client always. Every conversation begins with what the client owns; every decision begins with what is right for them.
Key Responsibilities
- Find the signal: Read a client’s portfolio across allocation, concentration, duplication, risk, performance, cost and tax efficiency, then identify the few issues that matter most.
- Build the context: Understand the person behind the money: their goals, liquidity needs, investment horizon, risk appetite and expectations from a managed relationship.
- Make the insight land: Turn portfolio analysis into a clear conversation about what should change, why it matters and how the 0.1% Club Managed Portfolios approach addresses it.
- Create conviction: Move suitable prospects from interest to investment with clarity and confidence. Involve research, product or senior specialists when the conversation needs additional depth.
- Make the start seamless: Coordinate risk profiling, KYC, documentation, account opening and the first investment. The hand-off should feel invisible to the client.
- Set the service standard: Stay close after conversion, set expectations clearly and maintain the responsiveness and composure that an HNI relationship demands.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working fluency in mutual funds and equities, with the ability to examine a portfolio and form a defensible point of view.
- The presence to engage sophisticated HNI clients and the communication skills to make complex investment thinking feel clear.
- Commercial instinct without short-termism: you want to win the client, but never at the expense of suitability or trust.
- Strong operating discipline - timely follow-ups, clean records, an organised pipeline and reliable coordination across teams.
- Comfort working closely with research, product, advisory, operations and compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in finance, commerce, economics or business.
- Relevant NISM certifications should be in place or clearable within the required joining timeline.
- CFP, CFA or CA progress is valued.
- 0-3 years in wealth management, private banking, broking, investment advisory, investment sales or a comparable client-facing financial role.
