About the Role

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the restaurant, ensuring a sparkling, clean, and bright environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.
• Maintains kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc.
• Performs assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties.
• Prepares and maintains the dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
• Supports fellow employees as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Can reach, bend, stoop.
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers.
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans.
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or Over to Enroll in 401K.
