Baby Minutes is an early-stage startup building an everything app for babies and kids, making shopping for children faster, easier and more convenient. They serve customers across Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali and are building a young, ambitious team as they scale.
About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) to work directly with the founders across Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Operations, and Customer Insights. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to understand how an early-stage consumer startup is built and scaled. You will work closely with the founders, take ownership of real business problems, and get exposure to multiple functions rather than being restricted to one narrow role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support buying, merchandising, and product assortment decisions
- Research products, categories, competitors, and market trends
- Assist with vendor coordination and category management
- Analyze sales, product, and customer data
- Identify customer preferences, feedback, and actionable insights
- Support day-to-day business and operational activities
- Identify operational gaps and help improve processes
- Work on special projects and new business initiatives with the founders
- Convert data and customer insights into actionable recommendations
- Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them to completion
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate/MBA or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Interest in startups, retail, e-commerce, consumer businesses, buying, or operations is a plus
