About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role for a Lawyer specializing in Property Title Verification for banking clients.
• Based in Mumbai, Fort.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit various banks and financial institutions across Mumbai for property title searches, title verification, and related documentation.
• Conduct detailed title due diligence for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Review and analyze property documents.
• Identify legal risks or defects in title.
• Prepare clear title verification reports, opinions, and checklists in line with bank requirements.
• Communicate findings to internal stakeholders and client representatives.
• Liaise with land records and registration offices for document verification.
• Track compliance with relevant property, banking, and regulatory laws.
• Maintain accurate documentation and databases for all matters handled.
• Coordinate with bank officials to complete title verification assignments within stipulated timelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfortable with local travel across Mumbai.
• Familiarity with property documents, land records, and registration procedures.

Qualifications

• Fresher to 1 year PQE.
• LL.B. graduate.
• Basic knowledge of property law, title searches, and legal due diligence.
• Good communication, document review, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience or internship in property law or banking-related legal work will be an advantage.
