Full Stack developer intern

About the Role

GameGenesis is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern passionate about building scalable web applications. This 3-month internship is remote. You will work across frontend and backend development, collaborating with designers, product teams, and developers to create modern, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Build and maintain backend APIs and server-side services.
• Integrate frontend applications with databases and backend systems.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews and development discussions.
• Contribute throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React.js and Next.js.
• Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Understanding of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Eager to learn, collaborate, and grow as a developer.

It'll Be Awesome If You Also Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or modern frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of authentication systems such as JWT or OAuth.
• Experience deploying applications using Vercel, Netlify, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of WebSockets and real-time applications.
• Experience building personal, freelance, or academic projects.
• A GitHub profile, portfolio, or live projects showcasing your work.
