About the Role
Annapurna Labs, the team behind AWS Graviton, is seeking a System Verification Software Engineer to join their chip development team. This role operates at the HW/SW boundary, ensuring semiconductor platforms meet high standards before production. You will verify Graviton chips across emulation, silicon, and AWS production fleets, developing tests, automation, and debug tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and validate Graviton chips in emulation, silicon, and post-production.
- Develop tests to ensure features function as intended.
- Build automation and debugging tools for silicon regressions and bring-up.
- Collaborate with hardware design and software teams to identify, analyze, and resolve design issues and verification gaps.
- Debug failures across diverse platforms (emulation and silicon).
Basic Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering. (Please include your academic transcript with your CV in a single PDF)
- Experience developing software and/or hardware in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in system-level verification, design verification, or embedded software development.
- Knowledge of assembly languages and compilers.
- Familiarity with ARM architecture and/or its protocols (AXI/CHI).
- Independent, a fast learner, and a strong communicator.
