About the Role

Internship opportunity with Philips. This is a paid intern opportunity for individuals currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree. Gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support investigation activities including test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment.
• Perform a variety of routine operations, usually under limited supervision.
• Use standard equipment and complex pieces of equipment.
• Make technical calculations involving the use of engineering/mathematical formulas.
• Analyze and create schematic drawings and diagrams.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and remediation of equipment production failures.
• Record test procedures and results.
• Perform routine analyses and calculations.
• Recommend changes in equipment, procedures, or test methods.
• Test machinery and equipment, consistent with engineering and other specifications.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Undergraduate Engineering Student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid basic computer skills including MS Office Suite.
• Good communication and presentation skills for reporting project status.
• Detail-oriented documentation skills desired.
• Passion for learning.

Additional Information

• The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00-29.00, plus overtime eligible.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
• Company relocation benefits will not be provided.
• You must reside in or within commuting distance to New Kensington, PA.
