About the Role
The Video Editor Intern will support the creation of digital video content for news, entertainment, lifestyle, and local experience features. This is a remote internship role, offering hands-on experience in digital media production and editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage, trim and arrange clips.
- Add transitions, audio, and visual effects.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs.
- Assist with basic motion graphics, color correction, and visual enhancements.
- Collaborate with content creators to understand briefs.
- Adapt videos for multiple platforms.
- Manage video assets and file organization.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic visual enhancements.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and simple animations.
- Basic understanding of Graphics for social media and digital platforms.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a keen visual sense for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
- Current student or recent graduate in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred.
