About the Role
As a Physiklehrer (Physics Teacher), you will convey physical content understandably and structured to learners of various performance levels within a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of online teaching units.
- Creation of teaching materials.
- Design of exercises, homework, and tests.
- Clearly explaining complex physical and mathematical concepts.
- Answering learner questions.
- Individually supporting learners with their learning progress.
- Documenting performance.
- Providing constructive feedback.
- Close collaboration with colleagues to further develop curricula.
- Teaching is fully remote, allowing for location-independent teaching.
- Participation in digital meetings and further training.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Physics Competence: Profound knowledge in Physics and ideally in Physics Didactics or Physics Education.
- Teaching and Planning Competence: Experience in teaching and structured lesson planning.
- Mathematical Skills: Confident handling of mathematics for conveying physical relationships.
- Digital Competence: Routine in using online learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
- Willingness to employ digital teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Pedagogical and Communicative Strengths: Distinct didactic skills, understandable communication, patience, and appreciation towards learners.
- A completed degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field is desirable.
- Work experience in teaching is advantageous.
- A structured way of working is advantageous.
- Good English skills are advantageous.
