R&D Intern

About The Role

As an R&D Intern at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support research and development activities by assisting in the design, testing, and analysis of innovative projects. This internship offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to advancing Honeywell’s technology initiatives. You will help accelerate innovation by supporting the development and validation of new concepts and technologies, contributing to the success of Honeywell’s R&D efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting experiments and prototype testing.
• Support data collection, analysis, and documentation of R&D activities.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Science, Engineering or a similar field.
• Must graduate December 2027 or later.
• Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship.
• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher).
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
• Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Location: Multiple locations across the United States.

Hourly base range: $25.00/hr - $44.85/hr.

Internship application period: Estimated through the end of March 2027.
