About the Programme

The internship programme runs across two tracks, is paid, and is designed as a hiring pipeline. Interns who perform well are offered full-time roles at the end of the term.

Track 1 — Investment Banking

• Build and maintain financial models, projections and cap tables
• Support valuations using DCF, comparable companies and precedent transactions
• Help prepare teasers, information memoranda, pitch decks and business plans
• Conduct sector research, comparable transaction analysis and investor mapping
• Support due diligence — data room management and query tracking
• Work on live M&A, private equity and growth capital mandates

Track 2 — Consulting

• Support diagnostic reviews of client finance functions, processes and internal controls
• Build management reporting formats, budgets, forecasts and business cases
• Assist on due diligence engagements
• Conduct industry, competitor and benchmarking research
• Prepare client deliverables and support presentations to management
• Work alongside promoters, CFOs and senior client stakeholders

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountancy — CA (Inter) cleared, CA Final pursuing, or recently qualified
• CFA — candidate at any level
• CMA — Inter or Final
• MBA

• Strong Excel capability, or the clear ability to pick it up quickly
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial statements
• Clear written English — you will contribute to client deliverables
• Attention to detail, and the discipline to work to deadlines
• Genuine interest in deals and consulting
