About the Role
This is a remote Video Editing Intern position focused on creating engaging video content for a personal brand across YouTube and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities
- YouTube
- Edit YouTube videos from raw footage to final output.
- Create engaging storytelling through pacing, cuts, transitions, and visuals.
- Add B-rolls, motion graphics, sound effects, music, and subtitles.
- Find creative ways to increase video engagement and audience attention.
- Help improve the overall quality and consistency of YouTube content.
- Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
- Create dynamic edits with captions, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements.
- Understand current Reel trends and suggest creative editing styles.
- Repurpose longer videos into short-form content.
- Maintain a consistent editing style across the personal brand.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong interest in video editing and content creation.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
- Comfortable using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut, or similar.
- Good sense of music, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with YouTube videos and Instagram Reels.
- Open to feedback and willing to experiment with new editing styles.
- Consistent, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
- An eye for detail and a desire to improve.
Qualifications
