About the Role

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to participate in the design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for Department of Defense (DoD) products and technologies. You will contribute to real-world weapons, sensors, and Command & Control systems. This role involves working as a software engineer, making contributions to the visual components of the Aegis Combat System for Display Products, focusing on software implementation for defect resolution, automated testing, or software unit testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently identify and address system and software defects.
• Demonstrate the ability to practice sound software engineering discipline.
• Decompose complex problems to formulate solutions.
• Make contributions to the visual components of the Aegis Combat System for Display Products.
• Tasking of software implementation for defect resolution, automated testing, or software unit testing.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be a US Citizen.
• This position will require a government security clearance.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical and computer engineer, or a closely related field.
• Javascript (Desired)
• J unit testing (Desired)
• User interface design/implementation (Desired)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
