About the Role
The AI ML Cloud role is a part-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions on cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and training ML models.
- Preparing and validating datasets.
- Integrating models into cloud-based applications or APIs.
- Optimizing performance of AI/ML solutions.
- Monitoring model behavior.
- Implementing best practices for scalability, reliability, and security in the cloud environment.
- Collaborating with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust AI solutions.
- Documenting architectures and workflows.
- Supporting troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Experimenting with new tools and frameworks.
- Maintaining clear technical documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AI and machine learning skills, including model development, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related services for data storage, compute, and ML operations.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in ML, such as Python.
- Experience with relevant libraries or frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
- Understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices, such as version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation for production-grade systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage part-time schedules effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and performance optimization considerations in cloud-based AI solutions is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
