About the Role
Fairway Funding Group is a fully in-house residential mortgage lender. We are growing a small team of loan officers who want a lender that protects their reputation with borrowers and agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise borrowers on their goals and match them to the right loan product.
- Take files from application to closing alongside our in-house processing and underwriting.
- Keep borrowers, agents and partners updated at every step.
- Build your pipeline through referrals, agent and builder partnerships, and your own network, with our help.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Active MLO license in FL, SC or TN, or ability to obtain one (sponsorship available).
- Experience originating loans.
- Proficiency with LOS and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously without dropping details.
Qualifications
- Experience advising borrowers on loan products.
- Experience managing loan files through the closing process.
- Experience keeping borrowers, agents, and partners updated.
- Experience building a pipeline through referrals, partnerships, and personal networks.
- Experience working with a producing Loan Officer for mentorship and partnership introductions.
- Ability to care about compliance and borrower interests.
