Billing Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Billing Engineer role based in Gurgaon. The Billing Engineer will prepare and verify bills for interior projects, ensuring accuracy in quantities, rates, and overall project costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Perform Rate Analysis.
• Coordinate with project teams for measurements.
• Verify contractor and vendor bills against executed work.
• Maintain and update billing systems.
• Track project billing status.
• Support quantity surveying activities.
• Prepare cost-related reports for management.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and accounts to ensure timely and precise billing and documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in relevant billing or ERP software.

Qualifications

• Strong BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying skills for interior or construction projects.
• Experience with Billing Systems, including bill verification, preparation, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Rate Analysis and cost estimation, with the ability to compare and validate project rates.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting drawings, measurements, and cost data.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out or construction processes and basic understanding of project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities for working with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Prior experience in billing roles is preferred.
