About the Role

The Associate Consultant - Risk Process & Controls role is within EY's Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) Industry Market, specifically focusing on the CNS - Risk - Process & Controls service line. EY Consulting helps clients address the rapidly changing needs of the business world, driving long-term value by solving strategic problems. This role involves assisting clients in identifying and managing risks to prevent impact on their ability to meet future business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of internal audit, risk advisory, and controls assessment engagements.
• Develop an understanding of business processes, operational activities, and organizational objectives to identify key risks and controls.
• Support process walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and testing activities to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Analyze financial, operational, and transactional data to identify trends, exceptions, and potential areas of concern.
• Prepare working papers, process flows, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and other engagement documentation.
• Support the review of policies, procedures, and business practices against internal requirements and leading practices.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
