Associate Management Auditor

About the Role

CalRecycle is seeking an Associate Management Auditor to join the Cerritos Technical Assistance and Review Unit. This role involves conducting operational, compliance, and/or performance audits, assessing entities that receive funds from CalRecycle or other state/local entities subject to the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act. The position requires a passion for audit standards, complex reviews, and ensuring regulation compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently conduct operational, compliance, and/or performance audits.
• Assess and evaluate business entities.
• Gather information through oral interviews.
• Reconcile information into clear, accurate, and complete reports.
• Work cohesively with a team, business entities, and maintain tact and professionalism.
• Travel throughout California, including overnight travel (up to 50% annually).

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in independently conducting audits.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Valid California Driver's License (CDL).

Qualifications

• Familiarity with audit standards and practices.
• Ability to perform complex reviews.
• Ability to ensure regulation compliance with business entities.

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: $6,646.00 - $8,740.00 per month
