Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Federal Strategy Consultant 2027, you’ll work at the intersection of progressive strategy and transformational technology. You will:
- Envision, co-create, implement, and update strategies for Federal clients, leading to meaningful improvements in Agency mission readiness and service to their customers.
- Create and lead business cases, strategic roadmaps, target operating models, feasibility assessments, and strategy refreshes.
- Work across digital reinvention, emerging technologies, citizen and employee experience.
- Envision new areas and strategies for clients to reinvent their business according to a digital agenda – from idea to reality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting-Federal.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in one of the following or related fields:
- Business Administration / Management or Public Policy
- Organizational Development & Change Management
- Human Resources & Organizational Psychology
- Learning, Training & Development
- Business Strategy, Cyber & Intelligence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to develop data-driven recommendations and innovative solutions.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100%.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Prior consulting &/or relevant work experience in one of the following industries: Federal, State & Local Government.
