About the Role

This team exists to enable consumer businesses—Seekho at scale, alongside several younger products. The goal is leverage: new products should launch with essential features like login, payments, and notifications already functional, allowing them to focus on unique development.

What You'll Do

• Build the platform from zero-to-one, designing and shipping an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with self-service provisioning, paved roads, templates, and golden paths.
• Lead modernization and transformation efforts at scale, untangling existing infrastructure, re-platforming, and consolidating tooling.
• Own the full stack of platform concerns end-to-end: infrastructure, networking, security, runtime, observability, reliability, and scalability.
• Treat the platform as a product, engaging with engineer customers to identify friction, prioritize, ship, measure adoption, and iterate.
• Be security-first and cost-obsessed, building guardrails, policy-as-code, and least-privilege defaults, while ensuring cloud bill honesty and cost efficiency.
• Lead architecture decisions for the organization, writing design docs, making calls, and mentoring the team.
• Remain hands-on with coding, actively contributing to the codebase.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience building and shipping developer-facing or internal platforms that have been adopted by teams.
• Deep, first-principles understanding across infrastructure, networking, security, runtime, observability, reliability, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure modernization and transformation.
• A platform-as-a-product mindset, with experience defining golden paths and self-service capabilities based on user needs.
• Security-first and cost-conscious instincts in development practices.
• Ability to lead architectural initiatives end to end.
• Strong coding ability in Python, Java, or Go.
• Comfort with ambiguity, scope, and the pace of an early-stage team, prioritizing shipping and iteration over perfection.
