About the Role

The Alterations Tailor role at Raymongo Business Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Fitting garments
• Taking accurate measurements
• Performing alterations such as hemming, resizing, adjusting seams, and modifying designs to meet client needs
• Working with a variety of fabrics
• Using sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques
• Ensuring quality workmanship
• Meeting agreed timelines
• Interacting with clients to understand their preferences
• Providing professional recommendations
• Maintaining clear records of alteration requirements
• Helping keep the workspace organized
• Coordinating with other team members
• Following safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Strong tailoring and garment alteration skills, including measuring, cutting, sewing, and fitting
• Ability to work with different fabrics and garment types, with attention to detail and quality finishing
• Basic design and pattern understanding, with the ability to interpret client requirements into practical alterations
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple orders and meet deadlines
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and stand for extended periods while performing alterations
• Openness to learning new techniques and adapting to studio processes and standards

Experience working in a tailoring shop, fashion studio, or similar environment is preferred.
