Job Summary

• Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (Terms and conditions apply)
• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor by performing the following duties:

• Positions parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or controlled documents.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
• Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
• Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Tools/Equipment: Drills, hand/air impact wrenches, hand tools.
• Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations; Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision.

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Noise level requires the use of earplugs.
• Requires maintaining good housekeeping.
