Data Analyst

About the Role

The Performance Data Analytics and Management team in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Data Analyst. In this role, you will perform data capture, analysis, and visualization in support of F-35 Sustainment. You will support the coordination and development of problem statements, analysis approaches, and ground rules and assumptions (GR&A). You will also work under the guidance of a technical lead to perform analysis to establish a performance picture for Sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data capture, analysis, and visualization in support of F-35 Sustainment.
• Support coordination and development of problem statements, analysis approaches, and ground rules and assumptions (GR&A).
• Perform analysis to establish a performance picture for Sustainment.
• Collect, process, and analyze data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions.
• Use proven and sound statistical methods to draw insights from data and translate them into action that drive business results.
• Find novel data sources to enrich analysis.
• Apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems.
• Mine, process, and summarize data.
• Manage the quality assurance of data scraping.
• Query databases for stakeholder requests.
• Triage data issues for timely resolutions.
• Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards.
• Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities.
• Produce and track key performance indicators.
• Formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems.
• Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience and/or knowledge of data analysis technical principles, concepts, and techniques to assess performance metrics using commercial, government, and LM developed tools.
• Experience in using databases and/or visualizations.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of system databases, data elements, and application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis.
• Experience developing scripts/workflows that embed AI/ML into business processes (Python automation, Power Automate).
• Experience developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL – Pentaho, Alterex).
• Use source control and collaborative platforms for reproducibility (Git/GitHub, GitLab).
• Coursework or previous experience analyzing supply chain networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Professional experience in data analysis, or AI/ML.
