At Applegreen, we refresh travelers on their journey. Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, providing convenience, comfort, retail, and a wide range of food options.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service through friendly and helpful interactions.
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments accurately, and adhering to customer service and cash handling policies.
• Ensuring proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.
• Completing kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stocking, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations and equipment.
• Actively cross-selling and up-selling products.
• Maintaining knowledge of available products and services.
• Adhering to required brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Executing other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
• Ability to converse comfortably with customers.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
