Financial Analyst Intern at ONE BCG - ONE Business Consulting Group
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the new business process under the guidance of the Finance Manager and Financial Analyst.
- Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting and reconciliation.
- Prepare financial reporting and required analysis.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits.
- Prepare various MIS reports and financial statements.
- Enter accounting records to show expenditures and receipts, including data entry into the general ledger, trial balance, accounts payables, and refunds.
- Participate in internal audits involving the review of accounting and administrative controls.
- Assist in monthly account reconciliations and other accounting support responsibilities.
- Manage internal procurement and payments with the proper approval process.
- Perform various financial analyses as required by senior team members.
- Assist the manager in fund management and cash flow analysis.
- Liaise with external parties such as banks, auditors, CAs, and consultants in coordination with senior team members.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of financial accounting tools such as Tally, Quickbooks.
- Knowledge and awareness of statutory compliances and updates including GST, Income Tax.
- Extremely strong Google Sheets/MS Excel skills.
- GS Suite knowledge and experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of strategic business processes.
- Excellent operational acumen.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA/MBA preferred.
