About GR Angel

GR Angel is Guillermo Flor and Rubén Domínguez Ibar, the writers behind Product Market Fit and The VC Corner. They back top companies from every Y Combinator batch and connect founders with millions of potential customers and investors.

The Role

Work directly with Guillermo and Rubén. You will act as a brand-builder, storyteller, and chief of staff. You will be responsible for developing GR Angel's personality, look, and voice, and for telling the stories of the founders they support. This role is for someone who is already exceptional, with a passion for their work that is demonstrated through their output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a distinctive brand: identity, design, style, writing, and voice.
  • Interview founders and transform their journeys, ideas, and products into compelling stories.
  • Create content across various formats: essays, short videos, founder interviews, and visual stories.
  • Take projects from raw idea to finished work: identify the angle, write, shape visuals, and edit.
  • Contribute your own ideas and creative judgment, rather than waiting for detailed briefs.

Qualifications

  • Already an outlier. Showcase your creations: a brand, a film, a publication, a body of writing, or a personal project. The work is valued more than credentials.
  • Obsessed with creating art, stories, brands, video, and writing. You proactively create and continuously improve your skills.
  • Exceptional taste and the ability to execute it. You pay attention to the opening line, the cut, the image, the rhythm, and the smallest detail.
  • Deeply dedicated to your work. You complete projects, actively seek feedback, and refine until the result meets your standards.
  • Master's student with a full academic year ahead, eligible to join under a university internship agreement.
  • Strong written English and a global mindset.
  • The role is remote; candidates from any location are welcome.
