Role Description

The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PCB layouts for analog, digital, and RF circuits in accordance with electrical and mechanical specifications. This is a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Translating schematic designs into PCB layouts.
• Selecting appropriate components and footprints.
• Performing design rule checks (DRC).
• Preparing documentation for fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborating with electrical engineers and other stakeholders to review designs.
• Resolving signal integrity and EMI/EMC issues.
• Ensuring manufacturability and reliability.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Maintaining high design standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar).
• Familiarity with industry standards.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFT practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Circuit Design and Electronics.
• Experience with Analog circuit design and analysis, including noise, filtering, and power integrity considerations.
• Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) design principles, high-speed routing, and signal integrity best practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also valued.
