About the Role
As an information system security officer, you will work with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are implemented to reduce risk. You will discover cyber risks, understand policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You will gather technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs and engineers to assess the entire threat landscape, and guide the client through a plan of action. You will translate security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Information System Security Officer experience
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53
- Ability to articulate security requirements and concerns to a variety of stakeholders
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- Experience identifying gaps in security postures and proposing solutions
- Ability to lead teams
- Bachelor’s degree
Clearance
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
- The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
Work Model
- Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite work may be expected depending on the role and client needs.
