About the Role
/COMMIT is a real job focused on shipping real code, not an internship, fellowship, or program. It's a bet on builders and doers who don't fit the mold and believe shipping code is more valuable than theory.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve real problems in healthcare.
- Build with AI from the ground up.
- Ship code that impacts millions.
- Get big things done in a complex industry with regulations, legacy systems, and broken incentives, leveraging AI.
- Work in person in NYC.
- Ship real systems, not proofs of concept.
- Deal with messy data, edge cases, and lives at stake.
What We're Looking For
- Taught yourself a new language, reverse-engineered an API, or talked your way into a room.
- Built something real that people used (an app with users, a tool your team relied on, a process that makes sense).
- Demonstrated ability to stay up late debugging, interviewing users, or traveling to do what's right.
- Shipped a messy v1 with users instead of perfecting a v0 with zero users.
- Hustled against all obstacles (coded it yourself, cold emailed strangers, showed up in person, fixed the problem).
Process
- Submit your details and tell us what you’ve built.
- If you pass the initial review, you will prove your abilities with a case study.
- If the case study is good, you will present to board members and c-suite, and meet the team.
