Manufacturing Excellence Management Development Associate

About the Role

The Management Development Associate program at Nestlé Purina has developed future leaders for over 30 years. As a Manufacturing Excellence Management Development Associate, you will gain hands-on experience and be coached for continuous learning and growth. This full-time position fast-tracks you to management in the manufacturing sector and includes a rotational component with relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Discover field concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
• Analyze data and operating conditions, implement changes, and follow up on results with key stakeholders.
• Develop strategies to reduce material usage and losses, and achieve energy savings.
• Plan methods to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
• Support business innovation and renovation efforts.
• Drive operational improvement projects.
• Work on cross-functional teams to focus on sustainable gains in reliability, quality, safety, cost, and delivery.
• Gain understanding of quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or related discipline (attained or expected by June 2027).
• Open to relocation to any of the 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S.
• Initial rotation for this role will be at one of the following locations: Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Davenport, Iowa.

Qualifications

• Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience (preferred).
