Barista

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role at an Orion Group Of Hotels property in New Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to guests, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or lobby service area.
• Ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies.
• Greet guests, take orders accurately, and handle payments.
• Respond to guest questions about the menu in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team.
• Support light food preparation as needed.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Barista skills: beverage preparation, equipment handling, and basic knowledge of coffee and tea varieties.
• Food Preparation skills: for basic snack or café-style items, while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems (beneficial).

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Prior experience in hospitality or café environments (beneficial).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays (beneficial).
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Formal barista or food & beverage training is an advantage.
