2027 Summer Supply Chain Intern

About the Role

Butterball, America’s favorite turkey brand, offers an exciting 10-12 week summer internship at our HQ office in Garner, NC. This program aims to grow future leaders by providing professional development and assignments aligned with professional interests in the processing and manufacturing industry. You will collaborate with diverse teams to optimize our supply chain and drive success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and execute scheduling/planning models to create a flow of product that consistently meets demand.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners.
• Assist with design, documentation, implementation, enhancements, support, and training of Microsoft Power Bi, SAP, and TMS.
• Work with a variety of teams to support a particular project that best suits your skills and interests.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Microsoft Power Bi
• SAP
• TMS
• Proficiency using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and/or Access).
• Analytical, programming, and tool building skills using full Microsoft suite applications (Excel, Power Query, and Macros).
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles preferred.
• Knowledgeable in inventory, production, transportation, or material planning skills preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or another related field with an expected graduation between December 2027 through June 2030.
• All participants are required to have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
