Social Media Associate
Superset
Location: Bengaluru (work from office)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Associate to help grow Superset’s presence across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to create content that helps students navigate their careers and shows companies what Superset is building. This is a good role for someone who enjoys making content, understands what works on different platforms and wants to take responsibility for bringing ideas from concept to post.
Please share your IG profile / YT account where you post videos (Mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and create content for Superset’s Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn channels.
- Research topics, trends, and formats that are relevant to our audiences.
- Write hooks, scripts, captions, and other social media copy.
- Feature in videos and coordinate shoots with internal teams, founders, and external creators.
- Edit basic reels and shorts and create simple graphics when needed.
- Publish and optimize content across platforms, including YouTube titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.
- Manage the content calendar and keep shoots, edits, and posts moving on schedule.
- Track performance and audience feedback to understand what content is working and what to try next.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence speaking and presenting in front of the camera.
- Basic video-editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or a similar tool.
- Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and an understanding of how content differs across them.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- An interest in content, storytelling, and the questions students have about jobs and careers.
You don’t need to have managed a brand’s social media accounts before. If you’ve created videos, run a college page, worked with a student community, or built your own audience, we’d be interested in seeing your work.
Good to have
- Experience filming and editing short-form videos.
- Comfort using Canva or another basic design tool.
- Experience uploading and optimizing YouTube videos.
- A portfolio or social media account that shows content you’ve created.
