The QpiAI Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and characterization of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware, and QpiAI ASGP.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated quantum physicist to join our cutting-edge research and development team. This role involves the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments to characterize the performance of superconducting quantum devices, such as qubits.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, and quantum state and process tomography.
• Maintain and optimize cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.
• Design experiments and write analysis reports.
• Perform quantum measurements using qubits.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with designing and implementing experimental setups.
• Experience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of circuit QED.
• Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave electronics for superconducting qubit device characterization is a plus.
• Knowledge of error-correction schemes, preferably in superconducting qubits, is a plus.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference presentations in the field of quantum technology are a plus.

Qualifications

• MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.
• Proven track records of successful projects involving superconducting materials and devices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Should be a good team player.
