Junior Engineer

About the Role

Helios Selene is specializing in innovative and sustainable rooftop projects and seeks a motivated and talented Junior Engineer to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. This role will support the engineering department and contribute to the successful execution of residential rooftop projects and Industrial Solar Projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support: Collaborate with the senior engineering team to provide technical support and assistance throughout all stages of residential projects, from conception to completion.
• Site Inspections: Participate in on-site inspections to monitor project progress, ensure adherence to safety guidelines, and verify compliance with engineering specifications.
• Documentation: Help maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, reports, correspondence, and government documentation.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-solving: Identify and address engineering and electrical challenges during installation and commissioning, providing timely solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities align with relevant processes, safety standards, and government regulations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Education: Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Basic electrical knowledge and computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous internship or work experience in the solar or engineering industry is a plus.
