About the Internship

This internship is centered around front-end product implementation, focusing on translating product screens and requirements into working software functionality within an existing codebase. The role involves using tools like Claude Code, Codex, and MCP tools in the terminal to analyze codebases, review designs and backend documentation, create missing front-end documentation, implement features, debug issues, and refine software. Claude may also be used for backend tasks and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate front-end Figma screens into detailed implementation requirements.
  • Create missing front-end documentation based on designs and backend documentation.
  • Write user stories for front-end behavior.
  • Define front-end acceptance criteria.
  • Identify edge cases, broken flows, and missing product logic.
  • Document empty states, loading states, error states, and validation behavior.
  • Identify backend dependencies and data limitations affecting the front end.
  • Implement front-end and supporting full-stack functionality in the codebase.
  • Review feature completion, usability, and readiness for production.
  • Work 100% inside a Codex + MCP terminal-based workflow.
  • Use Claude for backend-related work and code reviews.
  • Critically review AI-assisted code and refine weak implementations.
  • Debug product behavior and identify incomplete or broken experiences.
  • Think through QA, usability, and functional completeness before marking work as done.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on feature execution.
  • Use Google Chrome Developer Tools within the MCP server environment to inspect, debug, and validate front-end functionality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Terminal-based development workflow built around Codex and MCP server integrations.
  • Use of Claude for backend work and code reviews.
  • JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • React, Next.js, or similar front-end frameworks.
